Bone Fossils

Picture
Bone fossils are the most known of fossils. They are the fossilized hard tissue of vertebrates. Many variations have been found, from the huge sauropods of the Jurassic to the tiny shrews of the Eocene.
Another rare variation are mummified fossils, which not only includes the bone of the vertebrate but the soft tissue. One famous dino-mummy is  Dakota the hadrosaur.
